"Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise Yahweh our Savior, be Glory and Majesty, Dominion and Power, both now and for ever. Amein." Jude 24-25

Our Purpose
It is our single purpose to be a Community of Yahweh, which strives to proclaim the saving Gospel of YahShua the Messiah as revealed in the Scriptures, by which alone man can know the true Elohiem and the way to eternal life. This our purpose and commitment rests upon the following statements of the Scriptures: Matthew 28:18-20 And YahShua came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age. Amen. John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true Yahweh, and YahShua HaMoshiach, whom thou hast sent. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Matthew 5:13-16 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Return to top of page
YHVH/YHWH/Yahweh (Our Father)
We believe in "Ein Sof," the Incomprehensible One, Eternal, Almighty, All Gracious, and All Wise Yahweh: Abba Father. That the Father is the sole Master Designer of all creation, which was carried out through His Son at the beginning of His creation, Proverbs 8:22, 31; Revelation 3:14; Colossians 1:15-17. The Heavenly Father's name as given in the original inspired Scripture is Yahweh, Psalm 68:4; Isaiah42:8; Jeremiah 16:21; and Yahweh is His name forever, Exodus 3:14-15; Isaiah 63:12; 66:5. His majestic name has been revealed to the entire family of Yahweh, Psalm 22:22; John 17:11; Ephesians 3:14-15. He is the source of all power and authority, and all thanks and reverence is to be directed to Him, Matthew 4:10; 6:9; Colossians 1:12; James 1:17; 1Peter 2:5. Yahweh is spirit, John 4:24; and all worship centers on Him through His Son YahShua the Messiah, John 14:6, Ephesians 5:20. We believe that He is the giver of life and He alone is Most High. He is worthy of exclusive devotion. Our allegiance is to Him and His Law, His will. Return to top of page
YahShua (Son of Yahweh)

We believe in Messiah YahShua (Jesus), his virgin birth; sinless life; miracles; substitutionary, atoning death; bodily resurrection & ascension; present, effectual High Priesthood; personal, pre-millennial return; eternal reign as King. That YahShua is the Torah manifested, the Living Word of Yahweh, David's promised Messianic heir; our personal Lord & Savior, through whom the Father created, redeemed, sustains, and renews His Universe. That YahShua is the Adam Kadmon, the express image of the Father, the Only Begotten of the Father, the Messiah.

YahShua is the correct name of the Savior, a contraction of the combination of "Yahweh" and "HoSHUA," the same as given to Joshua the son of Nun by Moses, Numbers 13:16. YahShua means "Yahweh is Salvation," for He is the salvation that Yahweh has provided for mankind, Acts 4:12. We joyfully accept the names revealed by our glorious Heavenly Father Yahweh and His wonderful Son, our Savior YahShua the Messiah.

YahShua is the Spokesman, the Logos or Word (Hebrew Dabar) Who pre-existed and was with Yahweh the Father, Genesis 1:26;John 1:1-3; 8:58; 13:3; 1Corinthians 10:4; Colossians 1:15-17. He emptied Himself of His celestial glory, making Himself of no reputation and took upon Himself the form of a human, a servant, John 17:5; Philippians 2:5-7; Hebrews 2:6-14; was born of a virgin by the power of Yahweh, Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:18, 23; Luke 1:26-38; came in His Father's Name, YAH-shua, John 5:43. He lived a sinless life; Isaiah 53:9; 1Peter 2:22, and was resurrected from the dead by the Father after three days and three nights according to the Scriptures, Matthew 12:40; Acts 3:15; 1Corinthians 15:3-4; and has ascended into heaven is sitting on the right hand of Yahweh our Father, Luke 24:51; Hebrews 1:13.

He is now our Advocate, our Mediator and High Priest, Hebrews 3:1; Hebrews 4:14; through Him only can we approach the Heavenly Father, John 14:6. That He lived in total submission to His Fathers will. He, therefore was without sin and not deserving of the payment of death. Death on a tree was the ultimate insult for a Yahudim (Jew). He paid the full price of ransom for man. He lives and those walking in His footsteps will also live through resurrection into everlasting life. That YahShua's perfect sacrifice has made it possible for us to be healed of our illnesses, Isaiah 53:5; James 5:13-20. Through the anointing of the sick by the Elders of the assembly, the healing of our afflictions is possible by turning to Yahweh first in prayer, relying on Him and His guidance, in the authority of YahShua.

That Messiah did not start a new religion. Since YahShua is the expression of Yahweh, who gave all things holy unto Israel Romans 3, He did not come to reject Israel or to take back the Everlasting Covenants, but to fulfill what was promised. He came to make Israel a better Israel, a more inclusive nation, called his "Miqra," which means His "called out ones," the Commonwealth of Israel Jeremiah 31:31. The "called out" of the Gentiles who trust in him as Messiah of Israel are to be grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel by way of the New Covenant. YahShua, our Messiah came to bear witness to the truth and promised that those who are of the truth would hear His voice. Believers must praise, pray, and remain faithful with an open heart to his voice. Return to top of page

Roah HoKodesh / Set-Apart Spirit

We believe in the present work of the Ruah HaKodesh, Set-Apart Spirit, to effectual call and adopt the elect (those that have the election of grace) unconditionally into the King Messiah's own family by faith; to invite all the non-elect to seek Yahweh (so they will be without excuse); to teach, motivate, and empower every Believer for fruitful and gifted ministry and service characterized by growing love, faith, and hope; and to form all the "saved" into one holy, glorious, harmonious Body, the perfect Bride the Son deserves. That the Roah HoKodesh is the invisible dynamic Person, the force, the power emanating from the Father and shared by the Son, Luke 24:49; John 3:8; 14:17; 15:26; 1Corinthians 2:10-16. This invisible essence or power, of the Father, is placed within the believer through the Son, Acts 2:33,Titus 3:6. Through the power of the Roah HaKodesh's being placed within us, we demonstrate our love for YahShua and the Father by joyfully keeping the Law, John 14:15;14:21-24; Acts 1:8; 1John 2:5. The Person of Roah HaKodesh is likened to the wind, John 3:8; Acts 10:45, a dynamic, invisible force. We believe in the nine gifts of the Spirit and that they should be manifested in the Body today, and that all Spirit-filled Believers should earnestly covet the best gifts for the edification of the Saints who compose Yahweh's House 1 Corinthians 8:11, 14:1. We believe in the Ecstasy (Baptism of the Spirit which initial evidence is "speaking with other tongues") Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; I Corinthians 12:1-31; Acts 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9; Acts 2:4; 10:44-47; 19:1-6; I Corinthians 12:4-10,28, fruit, and administration (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, & teachers, and Ephesians 4:11-16) of the Spirit and that they sustain the Messianic Community. The Sacred Name

“Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, If you know?" Proverbs 30:4
We believe that the personal name of our Heavenly Father, is Yahweh as revealed by His holy prophet Moshe Rabbinue (Moses) in Exodus 3:15.
“…Elohim said to Moshe, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: "YAHWEH, the Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.'”
We believe that the name of His “only begotten son” is YahShua as revealed in Matthew 1:21.
“…you shall call His name YahShua, for He will save His people from their sins." The name YahShua means, “Yahweh is my salvation” so the revelation of that name is efficacious and important to our personal salvation.
"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation." Psalms 91:14-16

The Scriptures

We believe the law of YHWH as revealed in the Scriptures is the good, right, and perfect system of eternal directives and principles that reflects YHWH'S character and serves as a means of expressing His love toward man. YHWH'S law teaches man how to properly worship YHWH, how to love his fellowman, how to live life abundantly, and, at the same time, how to prepare for an eternal spiritual life in the family of YHWH. The law of YHWH is represented in both the Old and the New Testaments, and is expressed by both physical actions and spiritual motivations. John 14:15, 21; Romans 7:12; 1 John 5:2-3 We believe that the Scripture is the very Word of Yahweh and is our written absolute authority for all matters of faith and practice for life and godliness. That the Scripture is breathed of Yahweh and reveals knowledge man could not learn by himself. We are to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh, Matthew 4:4. "All Scripture is given by the breath of Yahweh and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness," 2 Timothy 3:14-16. The Scripture is His truth and is of no private interpretation, 2 Peter 1:21. We must neither add to nor take away from Scripture, Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; Rev. 22:18. We believe in the seven principles of the doctrines of Messiah Hebrews 6:1,2 with all their connection throughout the renewed Covenant as revealed by the Roah HaKodesh from time to time. We believe to “rightly divide the Word of Truth” (2 Tim. 2:15) we must understand that all things hang on the Torah (Matt. 22:40). The Torah is the basis of the “Faith of Yahweh.” So, to correctly interpret the Tanach (Hebrew Scriptures), the “Books of Renewal” (Gospel) and all the “Messianic Scriptures” (Apostolic Writings) we must filter these words through the Torah, which proves the harmony of the Scriptures and allows for sound doctrine. “…holding fast the faithful word as … has been taught, that [we] may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those…" Titus 1:9 In the words of YahShua, as well as expressed by His representatives, the Apostles, we find repeated reference made to the Law, Prophets, and Psalms; which is in Hebrew, Torah, Naveim, and Katuvim; which forms the acronym, Tanach. The Tanach saw partial fulfillment in the accounts that are recorded in the "Books of Renewal, " while they will find complete fulfillment in the years that follow the Second Advent of our Savior. We believe that the Scripture is sound and free from error in its original Hebraic form. Translations can lead to much sorrow. Exclusions, inclusions, interpretations and even tone are made to follow policies set to defend pre-conceived belief structures. These theories, notions and grand visions distort the message and create a wound where the infection of false doctrine can fester. This is why we endeavor to understand Hebrew and its idioms. We recognize that when YahShua clarified the Law and the Prophets with the statement, 'Love YHWH with your whole heart and your neighbor as yourself', the love He spoke of was an active verb, not a passive one. In the case of our neighbor or ourselves, we also hold that He was speaking of tough love', not permissiveness. Permissiveness is irresponsible and leads to destruction. Return to top of page

Creation

We believe in Yahweh's six-literal-day creation of the world and of our ancestors, Adam and Eve; in their subsequent fall; and in the lost state and thorough depravity of each one of us through that fall. Return to top of page

Man: His Creation & Fall

We believe that mankind was created in the image and likeness of Yahweh, and therefore with a good and upright nature: "And Yahweh said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...So Yahweh created man in his own image, in the image of Yahweh created he him." Gen. 1:26, 27 "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of Yahweh made he man." Gen. 9:6 "Man is the image and glory of Yahweh." 1 Cor. 11:7 "Therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of Yahweh." James 3:9 Although Yahweh created man upright and perfect, and gave him a righteous law, which had been unto life had he kept it, and threatened death upon the breach thereof, yet he did not long abide in this honor; Satan using the subtlety of the serpent to subdue Eve, then by her seducing Adam, who, without any compulsion, did willfully transgress the law of their creation, and the command given unto them, in eating the forbidden fruit, which Yahweh was pleased, according to his wise and set-apart counsel to permit, having purposed to order it to his own glory. Genesis 2:16, 17; Genesis 3:12,13; 2 Corinthians 11:3. Our first parents, by this sin, fell from their original righteousness and communion with Yahweh, and we in them whereby death came upon all: all becoming dead in sin, and wholly defiled in all the faculties and parts of soul and body. Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12, Titus 1:15; Genesis 6:5; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-19 From this original corruption, whereby we are utterly indisposed, disabled, and made opposite to all good, and wholly inclined to all evil, do proceed all actual transgressions. Romans 8:7; Colossians 1:21; James 1:14, 15; Matthew 15:19 The Scriptural doctrine of sin is this: men have been created upright, in the image and likeness of Yahweh, with a conscience, with the dazzling light of a rational nature, and with all the faculties and powers of free moral agency. But men have corrupted themselves. They have sinned against their Yah-given nature, and have come short of the glory of Yahweh. "Lo, this only have I found, that Yahweh hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions." Eccl. 7:29 No man has any righteousness of himself. Every good gift comes from the Yahweh of Heaven. Therefore the name and character of the true body of believers is: "YAH is Our Righteousness." Jer. 23:6; 33:16. This describes their eternal heritage bestowed from Heaven. Yahweh hath endued the will of man with that natural liberty and power of acting upon choice, that it is neither forced, nor by any necessity of nature determined to do good or evil. Matthew 17:12; James 1:14; Deuteronomy 30:19 Man, in his state of innocence, had freedom and power to will and to do that which was good and well-pleasing to Yahweh, but yet was unstable, so that he might fall from it. Ecclesiastes 7:29; Genesis 3:6 Man, by his fall into a state of sin, hath wholly lost all ability of will to any spiritual good accompanying salvation; so as a natural man, being altogether averse from that good, and dead in sin, is not able by his own strength to convert himself, or to prepare himself thereunto. Romans 5:6; Romans 8:7; Ephesians 2:1, 5; Titus 3:3-5; John 6:44 When Yahweh converts a sinner, and translates him into the state of grace, he freeth him from his natural bondage under sin, and by his grace alone enables him freely to will and to do that which is spiritually good; yet so as that by reason of his remaining corruption, he doth not perfectly, nor only will, that which is good, but doth also will that which is evil. Colossians 1:13; John 8:36; Philippians 2:13; Romans 7:15, 18, 19, 21, 23 Return to top of page

Commonwealth of Israel

We believe in the Congregation of YHWH, the spiritual body of the Messiah. We believe in His irrevocable choice of the Hebrew People as the Messianic Family; the Land of Israel as His special place; the City of Jerusalem as His royal capital; the family of David as His royal dynasty. We believe in the re-gathering of all Israel from everywhere that the Lord has scattered us, especially from the land of the north, both to the Land of Israel and to the King of Israel, never again to rebel against Him, but to rule with Him forever. We believe that YahShua Messiah is the foundation and cornerstone of His Body-the ekklesia, the Assembly-consisting of the "chosen" & the "called-out" Body of believers since Pentecost of Acts 2, who have accepted the sacrifice of our beloved Savior and changed their lives according to Yahweh's word, Matthew 12:50. Through this body of believers the training and preparation for the coming Kingdom is being carried out, 1 Peter 2:5 and 9-10; Revelation 1:6, 20:6. It is in the ekklesia that the spiritual gifts are exercised for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Messiah, Ephesians 4:7-13; 1 Corinthians 12:7-10; 28-30. The Assembly is where the spiritual fruits are manifested, Galatians 5:22-23, and our relationship to the members of the Body of Messiah is likened to that of YahShua Himself, Matthew 12:50; 25:40. In accordance with the established custom of the early assembly dating as far back as the Apostle Paul, the sisters of the Assembly are to wear a headcovering on their heads during worship. Paul cites his reasons for this custom in 1 Corinthians 11:1-16. Yahweh is the Head of everything, including YahShua. YahShua is now our High Priest and symbolically wears a miter of that office, Leviticus 21:10. On earth, man reflects Yahweh's glory and stands bareheaded before Him. Woman, on the other hand, is the glory of man and therefore is to have her head covered or veiled [katakaluptos]. (The King James Version is not a clear rendering of Paul's statements explaining Yahweh's arrangement.) We strive to be spiritual Israelites who are grafted into the promise given Israel of Old, Romans 9 and 11. We realize that entrance into New Jerusalem in the future Kingdom come to earth will be only through one of the 12 tribes of Israel, Revelation 21:12. Therefore, our lives and worship must reflect the truths given to Israel of old and confirmed in the Apostolic Writings by those writers and teachers who continued the teachings of the ancient prophets, with added emphasis on our Savior's example of a righteous life. That we are to be good examples of the living faith that we profess. Our example is that of YahShua the Messiah Whom we strive to emulate in love, honesty, humility, faith, hope, patience and reverence, Leviticus19:17-18; Matthew 5, 6, 7; 22:39; 1 Corinthians 6:1-11; 1 Peter 2:21-23. That adultery/apostasy/idolatry, in any of its forms must be cast out and cut off from among us, His people. We must carefully put ourselves away from those who practice the breaking of Yahweh's Torah. We believe that being an offspring of Abraham is a matter of belief and faithfulness more than a matter of blood. We believe in non-violence and peaceableness towards men & women of all races, no matter their creed. We believe in and support strong families, strong marriages, and parents fulfilling their responsibilities toward their children as well as children to their parents. "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing" 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. "Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully," 1Timothy 1:5-8. "You shall love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength." Deuteronomy 6:5. "You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am Yahweh," Leviticus 19:18. Return to top of page

Salvation

We believe that salvation is freely offered to all mankind. Yahweh is the Creator of all nations and has made His house a house of prayer for all people, Isaiah 56:7; Acts 8:27-39; Galatians 3:28 and Colossians 3:11. The love of Yahweh manifested in the sacrifice of His Son YahShua the Messiah is available to all who will come, Revelation 3:20; 22:17. We show our love to Him by keeping all His Commandments, 1 John 2:5; 5:3; 2 John 6. We believe that through the death of Messiah, because of his blood covenant with us, we receive salvation by way of inheritance. This salvation comes by faith through grace alone and is not earned by Torah observance. Return to top of page

Redemption

We believe that since all have sinned and earned the penalty of death, it is now necessary to repent. That is, to be sorry for the past way of life in breaking Yahweh's Set-Apart Law and now to change to a way of obedience, following the exemplary life of YahShua the Messiah, Matthew 19:17; John 8:11; Hebrews 6:1, 9:14. In order to be free from the curse of the law, which is death, we must accept the sacrifice of YahShua the Messiah as payment for our sins, Matthew 26:26-28; Colossians 3:13; Hebrews 9:26, 10:12; 1 Peter 2:21-24; 1 John 1:7-10. He is our Advocate and Mediator, 1 Timothy 2:3-5. Return to top of page

Mikvah / Immersion (Baptism)

We believe that Mikvah is the process through which the repentant sinner confesses his/her Faith in the Savior Yahweh and receives His Name as an identifying Sign of 'kinship' of the True Family of Yahweh. Mikvah should be by bodily emersion in water, in the "Name of YahShua" the Messiah, which is "the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Roah HaKodesh ". Divine Grace allows this Reconciliation - righteous living according to His Law will determine the grade of qualification, if at all, for the eventual Reward of Eternal Life. We believe that from time to time as you receive knowledge you may want to be immersed to declare revelation. Return to top of page

Sanctification

We believe that having been cleansed and made separate by the faith of YahShua, we believe it is important to be clean inside as well as out. Our body is the temple of the Roah HaKodesh. This is an object lesson in righteousness, teaching us the difference between the clean and un-clean, the righteous and unrighteous, 2 Corinthians 6:16-18. We are what we think, and we must discipline ourselves to be selective in what we allow to saturate our mind. We are to eat clean, think clean, live clean, and be clean and set-apart before Yahweh. We are to be an example to the world, 1 Timothy 3:7 and be sanctified before Yahweh, Matthew 5:48; 1 Corinthians 3:17; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Revelation 21:27. We believe that Yahweh expects purity of worship. He despises pagan tainted customs (Pagan celebration, names of idols in worship, any form of a multiplicity of deity, religious relics, objects and emblems - lucky charms and objects, astrology, horoscopes, & soothsaying). The walk that leads to everlasting life is continual. It is much like our temporal life, which depends upon our continuing to breathe for its existence; we must take in, process and exhale (speak/do) the truth. Romans 12:1,2; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 12:14; 13:12; 1 Peter 1:15,16; Romans 6:1-11,13; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 2:12,13; 1 Peter 1:5. We believe, that righeousness and true happiness are inseparably connected; and that believers ought to maintain order, and practice good works, for these things are good and profitable unto men. The definition of a saint (pure one) is given in scripture: " Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of YahShua." Rev. 14:12 Return to top of page

Faith

We believe that Faith is the gift of YHWH of the sure knowledge that YHWH exists, and that He will accomplish those things He has promised. Faith is necessary for salvation. The basic elements of faith are trust, courage, action, and risk. Romans 1:17; 10:17; Ephesians 3:17; Hebrews 11:1-2; James 2:22-24 Return to top of page

Teshuvah / Repentance

Repentance is the act of acknowledging one's sins, and resolving to fully obey YHWH. It begins when YHWH opens one's mind to see himself in comparison with YHWH and His law. True repentance is the first step toward reconciliation with YHWH, and thereby toward ultimate salvation. Return to top of page

Healing

We believe that Yahweh is the source of healing. “I am YAHWEH that healeth thee" Exodus 15:26 Healing is a gift for those that obey Yahweh. “…YAHWEH will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.” Deuteronomy 7:15 However, the greatest proof that Yahweh is a healer is embodied in the Adam Kadmon (His express image Colossians 1:15 & Hebrews 1:3), Messiah YahShua when he proclaimed, "The Spirit of YAHWEH Elohim is upon Me, because YAHWEH has anointed Me to preach Full Messianic Message to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound” Isaiah 61:1 For Messiah YahShua is the agent by which Yahweh heals. “…by His stripes we are healed” Isaiah 53:5

We believe that healing is a gift that is initiated by another gift, faith Romans 12:3. This is exercised by: (1) calling for the ministry and anointing of the Elders, “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of YAHWEH.” James 5:14 (2) humbling striving for personal and corporate righteousness, “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16 (3) knowing all faith comes by ingesting Torah, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of YAHWEH.” Romans 10:17 and ultimately knowing healing rests on the will of Yahweh, “…Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: YAHWEH gave, and YAHWEH hath taken away; blessed be the name of YAHWEH.” Job 1:21 Return to top of page

Laying on of Hands

We believe the laying on of hands is an act performed on special occasions, such as for the receiving of the gift of "YHWH’S Spirit" after immersion, at ordination, anointing of the sick, or for other special purposes. Matthew 19:13-15; Acts 6:5-6; 8:17-18; 13:3; 1 Timothy 4:14; Hebrews 6:2 Return to top of page

Covenant

We believe the Scripture record that YHWH made certain promises in the form of specific agreements with man. These are called "covenants," and define the terms of YHWH'S relationship with individuals or groups in various circumstances and eras. Of these covenants, the best known are the covenants made with physical Israel and the New Covenant established on "better promises," which will be fully confirmed with spiritual Israel after the return of YahShua. The New Covenant, which is the full message of Torah given by the Messianic congregation from the time of the original apostles, makes YHWH'S law even more relevant by expanding it to include one's mental attitude and spiritual intent. Jeremiah 31; Matthew 5:21-22; 2 Timothy 3:15-16; Hebrews 8:6-13 Return to top of page

Tithing

We believe that it is a blessing to be able to honor Yahweh with our substance, Proverbs 3:9, and an act of worship to support the work of Yahweh with our tithes and offerings, Leviticus 27:30-33; Malachi 3:8-12; Matthew 23:23; 1 Corinthians 9:1-25; 2 Corinthians 9:1-15. A tithe is 10 percent of our income. Yahweh in His wisdom has also provided a second tithe to insure us sufficient funds to participate in and enjoy His Feast Days, Deuteronomy 14:27-29, 26:12-17. It is more blessed to give than to receive and we cheerfully give, knowing that Yahweh is generous and will take care of all our needs. Return to top of page

Sin

We believe “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the Torah: for sin is the transgression of the Torah.” 1 John 3:4 and that without law there can be no sin, Romans 7:7-12. All have sinned and come short of the glory of Yahweh, Exodus 20:1-20; Deuteronomy 5:1-24; Romans 3:23. The penalty of sin is death, Genesis 2:16-17; Genesis 3:19; Romans 6:23; 1Corinthians 15:22; Hebrews 9:27. Death is a sleep, returning to dust, John 11:11-14; Ecclesiastes 9:5-6, 10; Isaiah 38:18; Psalm 115:17. We believe that the shed blood of Messiah YahShua cleanses from all sin. It is the atonement that returns mankind to “at-one-ment” with the Heavenly Father in Covenant.

We believe that by living in Covenant we live a life of total submission to the will of Yahweh, our Heavenly Father as evidenced by keeping his Word Micah 6:6-8; Ephesians 1:6,7; Hebrews 10:26-31; 1 John 1:7; 2:2.

We believe that we are delivered from the “evil inclination” to sin by grace (unmerited power given unto man to do Yahweh’s will) and mercy (unmerited favor) enabling us to keep Yahweh’s Word Romans 3:24.

State of the Dead

The bodies of men after death return to dust, and see corruption; but their spirits, which neither die nor sleep, having an immortal subsistence, immediately return to Yahweh who gave them. The spirits of the righteous being then made perfect in holiness are received into paradise, where they are with Messiah, and behold the face of Yahweh in light and glory, waiting for the full redemption of their bodies. The spirits of the wicked are cast into hell; where they remain in torment and utter darkness, reserved to the judgment of the great day; besides these two places, for spirits separated from their bodies, the Scripture acknowledge none. Genesis 3:19; Acts 13:36; Ecclesiastes 12:7; Luke 23:43; 2 Corinthians 5:1, 6,8; Philippians 1:23; Hebrews 12:23; Jude 6, 7; 1 Peter 3:19; Luke 16:23, 24 Return to top of page

Resurrection

We believe the hope of all mankind and the promise to the "Chosen" is the resurrection from the dead. The Scripture refers to; (1) the resurrection of YahShua the Messiah, the firstborn from the dead and the pioneer of our salvation; (2) the resurrection of the saints, called the "first resurrection" at the return of YahShua when the true believers shall become glorified spirit members of YHWH'S family; (3) the resurrection of the incorrigibly wicked, those who have refused to repent and have rejected YHWH'S way, to be consumed in the lake of fire (called the "second death"). John 5:28-29; Acts 2:32; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 15:20; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Revelation 20:4-6, 13-14 To those of the first resurrection, at Messiah's return, we are promised to rule on the earth in the Kingdom of Yahweh with YahShua Messiah as Kings and Priests. Rev. 1:6, 5:10 Return to top of page

Judgement

We believe that one's investigative judgment is the time of his opportunity for salvation, extending from one's calling by YHWH until his death (or the resurrection at YahShua's return). Those who have been chosen for YHWH'S Kingdom and those who deliberately reject YHWH'S way shall be consumed in the lake of fire Matthew 13:49-50; 25:34; 1 Peter 4:17; Revelation 20:15; 21:8. And then THE FINAL JUDGEMENT Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelations 20:11-15; 21:8. Return to top of page

Evangelization

We believe the good news is the message preached by YahShua and by His congregation about YHWH'S coming Kingdom, the restoration of His government on earth, and how mankind can enter that Kingdom and government. It includes the message of what YahShua has done, is doing, and shall do, and ultimately is the message of the entire Old and New Testaments. The primary purpose and commission of the congregation is to "Go ye therefore, and teach [make disciples of] all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of ‘YHWH'S Spirit’; teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." Matthew 3:2; 24:14; 28:19-20; Mark 1:15; Luke 24:47 Jude 1:3 "...that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, unrighteous men, turning the grace of our Mighty One into lasciviousness, and denying the only master Yahweh, and our Messiah YahShua." Angels

We believe YHWH has created powerful spirit beings as His agents and messengers. Since man's creation, these spirit beings function as ministering spirits to help mankind attain salvation. Like man, angels have free moral agency. Although created to help YHWH, some of them, led by Satan the devil, rebelled against YHWH'S government, transforming themselves into demons. Psalm 91:11-12; Ephesians 6:12; Hebrews 1:7 We believe that Satan is a spirit being, and was the anointed cherub called Lucifer. His pride was lifted up and he was cast out of heaven, Isaiah 14:12-20; Ezekiel 28:13-19; Luke 10:18; Revelation 12:7-9. That the Devil is the adversary of Yahweh and His people, John 8:44; Revelation 12:10, and will eventually be destroyed, Isaiah 14:18-19; Ezekiel 28:16; Romans16:20; Hebrews 2:14. Satan is attempting to thwart the setting up of Yahweh's Kingdom, Matthew 4:1-11. Through Yahweh's help we can resist the Devil and he will flee from us, James 4:7. Return to top of page

Eschatology

We believe in the soon approach of the events of Matthew 24 that will culminate in the arrival of King YahShua to defeat the enemies of the Kingdom. We believe that YAHWEH will rule over the nations of the world "with a rod of iron". His Government will be made up of Rulers which He will select according to His righteous criteria, from amongst the overcomers - followers of His who lived according to His Requirements during their lifetime on earth. Citizenship of His Kingdom is open to all humanity, of every race and nation - as long as they comply with His Divine Requirements. The Reward for qualifiers is: Eternal Life in the Presence of the Living Creator. Both the living and the dead (after they have been resurrected back to Life), will share in the inheritance of Eternal Life, having qualified in the Judgement of course. The Kingdom of YHWH is the family of YHWH ruling as the government of YHWH. It is a future world-ruling government to be set up on earth by YahShua at His return, with YahShua as King and the resurrected spirit-composed saints in positions of co-ruler ship with Him. The Kingdom of YHWH, in the New Testament, was first preached and explained by YahShua, then by His congregation. It shall be established on earth for a thousand years following YahShua's return, and shall be completely fulfilled when New Jerusalem and YHWH the Father come down out of heaven to dwell on the New Earth. Mark 4:11; Revelation 5:10; 20:4; 21:1-3, 7, and 10 We believe in THE NEW HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTH. 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:22. We believe that, in the fullness of time, Yahweh will bring together all things in Messiah, when, in the name of YahShua, every knee shall bow, of things in heaven and in earth, and under the earth, and every tongue confess that YahShua is Messiah. To the glory of Yahweh the Father; when, as by one man's disobedience, many are made sinners, so, by the obedience of one, shall the same many be made righteous. In one word, when Messiah shall have taken away the sin of the world, accomplished the great mission on which he came, done the will of Yahweh, seen the fruits of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied, and YAHWEH BE ALL IN ALL. Isaiah 53:11; Romans 5:19; 1 Corinthians 15:28; Ephesians 1:9-10; Philippians. 2:10-11 Return to top of page

Government

We believe that the Spiritual Authority of the community shall be one of servant hood based on Torah, with everything being done “decently and in order” “For YAHWEH is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the assembly of the Tzadikkim (saints)…Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:33,40
Our model of Government for the Communal Body will be nearest that which is assigned to the Commonwealth of Israel in Exodus 18 & Numbers 11. The offices of the Community are those set forth by Scripture: “…some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers" Ephesians 4:11 and “For this reason I…set in order the…elders…[and] an overseer…holding fast the faithful word" Titus 1:5-9
It is Yahweh that rises up His ministers to that position of authority and in such that the
“gifts and call of Yahweh are without repentance" Romans 11:29 that office is for life.
However, if the minister fails to line up with Scripture and no longer qualifies according to 1 Timothy 3 he will be set down for cause for a time of reconciliation as determined by the “overseeer.” It is the practice of our Fellowship to select men and women that Yahweh has indeed raised up in the spirit of Moses and Deborah to be Elders in the Body of Messiah, full of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), apt to teach, ready to serve in any aspect of the Body.
The Holy Scriptures exclude women from lording over men in their teaching
1 Timothy 2:11-14; 1 Corinthians 14:34. However be it understood women may hold any ecclesiastical office.
Doctrine shall be set by Halacha (verdict) and remain within the authority of the “overseer” as influenced by the ordained Elders. However, it is the “overseer” that has the final burden of responsibility of Doctrine.
If a conflict of doctrine arise in a member of the community he must hold his piece and approach the ordained Eldership in written summery of his conflict for review. The “overseer” will handle doctrinal issues in accordance with Acts 15 with the Elders review and rebuttal and final verdict. If a member cannot abide by these stated doctrines, that one shall be dealt with by the example of 2 Thessalonians 3:6-16:
“In the name of King Messiah YahShua, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone's food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat." We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in King Messiah YahShua to settle down and earn the bread they eat. And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right. If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of him. Do not associate with him, in order that he may feel ashamed. Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.”
All members of the community shall accept the “Tenets of Faith” as doctrine and
“keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-7
“I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our King, Messiah YahShua, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought." 1 Corinthians 1:10
“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes." Psalms 133:1,2.
To guard the Bimah (pulpit) from compromise, the preaching of “sound doctrine”
Titus 2:1 will be maintained only by ministers who are licensed, ordained, credentialed, or in training by the Elders of the Community or our affiliates, or have been selected by the “overseer.” Only these shall be permitted to preach, teach, or occupy the Bimah. The senior ranking Elder worshipping in their congregation unless otherwise noted by the “overseer” shall bring the main sermon during any service. Upon his absence he may deflect to the Elder of his choosing. Erev Shabbat services shall have an optional reading of Parsha (portion of the Torah) with commentary during the meal. All congregations shall establish a “shull” (Torah School) to teach stated doctrine every Sabbath Acts 15:21 with a sanctioned teacher instructing.
The Governmental body shall be one of Scriptural example. All members of the Community shall be understood to be local segments of the “Body of Messiah” existing all around the world in the Messianic Diaspora worshipping Yahweh longing for the “Coming of Messiah” awaiting the manifestation of the Kingdom of Yahweh.
Since we can see that the Messianic Movement is being drawn to the truth of the Full Messianic Message of Redemption worldwide we envision missions accordingly.
Any assembly missioned by the Fellowship that has formed a minyan (10 Believers) should have at least a “teacher” who is an Elder and as soon as is able to have an “overseer,” an Elder and a Deacon as its local Spiritual Authority. Until that time, the Governing Body of the “Mother Congregation” will acts as its Spiritual Authority. Understanding that Agudat Bris of Temple Texas is the “Mother Congregation” of its missions and thus is the final Spiritual Authority of all its affiliates.
According to Scripture, the Pastor (Overseer) shall be in charge of all activities of the local congregation and its missions. He will be assisted in the delivery of the Word and the visitation of the Body by a “teaching” Elder(s). The Pastor will be assisted in the temporal needs of the congregation by the Deacon(s). The office Elders and Deacons, as well as the General Membership shall be under the authority of the Pastor. Before the selection of congregational offices, the influence of the congregation shall be considered according to Acts 6. However, according to the president set in Acts 15, the Overseer shall have the final decision of arbitration in the conflict or dispute of matters temporal, ecclesiastical, or doctrinal.
All collections of the community shall be handled as set forth in Exodus 29:28, 30:11-16; Leviticus 1:1-3, 27:30-32; Numbers 18:21,24; Deuteronomy 14:22-29, 26:12; Exodus 30:11-16; Matthew 6:1-4; 1 Corinthians 16:1-3 with the office of Levite being fulfilled in the office of Pastor. The bulk of the tithe will go to the Pastor. The offerings will go into the General Fund understanding that check denotation will be recognized as suggestions and from the General Fund disbursements will be made to “publish peace and proclaim righteousness” and to maintain the Sanctuary with supplies, utilities, and publications.
All properties of the Fellowship and its affiliates whether to congregations or individuals shall remain the property of the Leadership of Agudat Bris located in Temple Texas.

Spiritual Life

It is in the Sacred Scriptures that we find our supreme example of a Torah filled life that should be lived by every member in the Community. We believe that Yahweh’s “divine power has given us everything we need for life and reverence through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these [Scriptures] He has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them [we] may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires." 2 Peter 1:3,4 We Should conduct ourselves in this world, and especially in our relations with other people, in the holiness and sincerity that are from Yahweh, not according to worldly wisdom but according to Yahweh's grace. 2 Corinthians 1:12 We should conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Full Message of the Messiah standing firm in one spirit, contending as in unity for the Full Messianic Faith. Philippians 1:27 We should live a life where we can lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing, dressing modestly, with decency and propriety, showing forth Mitzvoth (good deeds), appropriate for those who profess to worship Yahweh. 1 Timothy 1:8-10 We believe that the spiritual order for the Community is set forth in 1 Corinthians 11:1-16; 1 Timothy 2:2-15; 1 Peter 3:1-7. Accordingly, women are commanded to cover their heads with a veil during prayer and worship. Men should not veil themselves and are encouraged to don a Kippa (crown) and a Talit (Prayer Garment).
We believe that as holy people we should imitate Yahweh, as dearly loved children, living a life of love without even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, nor should there be obscenity or greed, debauchery; idolatry or witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, excessive ambition, dissensions, factions or envy; drunkenness or intoxication, orgies, or any of the like. For we should have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them to the light of Torah for it is the glory of Torah that makes everything visible.
Ephesians 5:1-14 & Galatians 5:19,20 Let us not entangle ourselves with unbelievers, for “what fellowship can light have with darkness… What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?… For we are the Temple of the living Elohim. As Yahweh has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their Elohim, and they will be my people." 2 Corinthians 6:14-16; Leviticus 26:12; Jeremiah 32:38; Ezekiel 37:27 We should live our lives as effective witnesses “keeping the commandments of Yahweh and the Faith of Yahshua” for we “are our epistle known and read by all men” Revelation 14:12 & 2 Corinthians 3:2 Rather we should show forth the “Fruit of the Spirit” which “is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control then we will not offend the Torah." Galatians 5:22,23
We believe that we should live the life of Messiah set for us, that whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them not taking vengeance but loving your fellow man even our enemies as ourselves fulfilling the Torah and the words of the Prophets. Leviticus 19:17, 18; Matthew 5:33-48, 7:12; 22:39; 1 Corinthians 6:1-11;1 Peter 2:21-23 It will be the responsibility of the Elders to disciple the Community in this Kingdom principle
Exodus 20:13; Deuteronomy 5:17; Luke 6:27-35; John 18:36; Romans 12:9-31.
We believe that the home of the Believer should be built on a spirit of love, that the bond of marriage should be one that can stand the test of time. We should teach our children to observe the Word of Yahweh.
Ephesians 5:20-33, 6:1-9; 1 Corinthians 7:1-17 Children shall honor their father and mother and parents shall not provoke their children to anger, Exodus 20:12; Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:21 that in unity our families can witness the coming of Messiah.
We believe that we should not take a brother or sister to a secular court for any reason but all disputes should be settled according to Matthew 18. Divorce is rare and discouraged.
Deuteronomy 24 and Matthew 5:30-33
We believe that we should love one another no matter what race or nationality, as Messiah loved us, that all would know that we are disciples of King Messiah YahShua.
John 13:34.5
Every member of the Community shall keep the “Three Pillars” as revealed to our congregation by Yahweh, saying,
“keep My Sabbaths, love the name of Yahweh and hold fast to the covenant of Yahweh.” For He says “Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My House of Prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My House shall be called a House of Prayer for all nations." Almighty Yahweh, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, "Yet I will gather to him others besides those who are gathered to him." Isaiah 56
By living a sanctified life as expressed in these doctrines others will recognize us as true Believers of Yahweh and will seek us out and join with us as we wait for the Regathering of Zion.
